Two questions share this phrasing
One is about Claude's own provenance marks on files it produced — that is the C2PA question, and it has a clean, verifiable answer covered elsewhere on this site.
The other is about using Claude to erase a visible logo from a photo or video. That is usually someone else's copyrighted image, and it is the one that gets declined.
Why the answer is no
A visible watermark on stock media is a rights marker. Removing it is normally a step toward using work that has not been licensed.
Claude will not help with that, and prompt phrasings that appear to work are unreliable — they are not a supported capability, they break without warning, and they are not a defence if the use is ever challenged.
Video adds a further limit
Claude does not edit video files. There is no frame-level image editing capability to invoke, regardless of how the request is phrased.
